In an effort to serve our school environment while practicing our skills we are selling hot dogs on selected days to one class per lunch period. For our first sale we selected healthy turkey dogs with carrot sticks and fresh made hummus. Here are some photos of our process making the hummus. We had to roll and squeeze lemons, chop garlic, and stir it all together with the mashed chick peas.
Next the hummus was placed in small containers.
Then we made an assembly line to prepare the plates for the students.
Isaiah carefully served the turkey dogs from the hot crock pot.
We can't wait for the next time we can cook and serve our friends!!
